The group vision to be an engineering and manufacturing conglomerate that will become the one-stop solutions provider to its customers in terms of machined castings, forgings, fabrications and assemblies.

  • Automatically detect the vehicle number.
  • Save all vehicle number to DB server.
  • Should be able to work in both day and night vision scenarios.

Problems We Faced

We have encountered some challenges along the way. Some of the issues we are facing include difficulty in recognizing different fonts and sizes of num.ber plates. And Difficulty in accurately recognizing the characters on the number plates , recognizing different fonts and sizes of number plates

  • Solutions We made

  • Implemented inhouse python code for ANPR.
  • Implemented new deep learning model for number plate detection.
  • We used the combination of computer vision and machine learning technologies.
  • We used Optical Character Recognition (OCR) algorithm to extract the text from the image.

We should look into different approaches to tackle these issues, such as using machine learning algorithms and image processing techniques. Our solution for implementing Automatic Number Plate Detection is to use a combination of computer vision and machine learning technologies.
